Hello, I am Gawoo Kim, PhD, in the Environmental Planning Institute at Seoul National University. Thank U for visiting my CV page.
I am interested in the following research areas
- Biodiversity monitoring and assessment in Protected areas, using spatial analytical tools(GIS) with species occurrence data (e.g., traditional surveys, camera trapping, eDNA metabarcoding) to understand the status of species and ecosystems.
- Understanding the effectiveness of conservation interventions and Ecosystem Services from National Parks for achieving biodiversity conservation outcomes, as well as impacts on human well-being.
